What is Ammar? Ammar is an organization which is composed by sexual workers. One of it's objectives is working for human rights, labour rights and improving the quality of life quality of the sexual workers who have been at this job because they want to.

"The needs of a small group of colleagues who were tired of going into jail and of having to pay large sums of money because of getting fines,  gave birth to Ammar.
If we had a country of equal rights for everyone, Ammar wouldn't have had the need to create the school. I was one of the first students there. I learnt how to read and right at the age of 48. Without these tools which many times give you the possibility, the capacity to be able to understand how turn things round and how you get power, and how you improve the self  esteem of your the colleagues through education. I mean… you manage to get your colleagues educated, that your colleagues can educate themselves, be open minded, to understand what the Constitution says which also represents them, because there it says: right to education, right to health, right to a home…
Ammar gave me the tools to learn that either we leave, or we are saved altogether, or is it a law that here they save themselves alone?
